A beautifully flowing Italian designer kaftan
, featuring a stylised bamboo pattern in bright citron against a darker background. The deep v-neck opening makes the cover-up quick and easy to slip on. The pattern is named after Shanghai because the citron stripes recall ancient images of bamboo stems but also look to the future by resembling the skyscrapers of the new city.
